Join the team

We are always happy to hear from enthusiastic, ambitious, hardworking students and researchers who are interested in bringing their ideas to the lab and learning about the beauty of spiral cleavage and marine invertebrates.

If you are interested in joining the group, contact us to discuss potential projects and funding.

2-year ERC-funded Postdoctoral Researcher

We have an open ERC-funded postdoctoral position to study the epigenetic control of early spiral cleavage. The project will involve the use of annelid species, combining RNA-seq, ChIP-seq and other epigenomic approaches (e.g. ATAC-seq). If you’re interested and want to know more, don’t hesitate to contact Chema directly at chema.martin@qmul.ac.uk

Deadline: mid January

QMUL-funded PHD studentship

In collaboration with Dr Rob Lowe at Blizard Institute (QMUL), we have an open PhD studentship to characterise the role of DNA methylation during early spiral cleavage. If you’re interested and want to know more, don’t hesitate to contact Chema directly at chema.martin@qmul.ac.uk
